Healing can be a many layered process like peeling an onion, each layer has something to release or reveal. Alternatively it can be like opening a stubborn jar of pickles. You may have been struggling with a condition or trauma for sometime, much like the lid of that jar, and then you receive a healing and pop you have a release and an instant relief. A clearing of the block that has kept you from achieving your optimal health.
I’ve been truly on a spiritual path since the mid 90’s when I encountered my first spiritual mentor, Jackie Suggs. She was the first to open my eyes to what some may call common sense practical magic and mindfulness practices. After a couple of years with Jackie I received a message through my dream state about healing with my hands. That dream sparked a desire in me to investigate different types of energetic healing modalities, but to be honest nothing was resonating.
In the meantime I met my next spiritual mentor Chokae’ Kalekoa. With him I began attending the Native American healing ceremonies of sweat lodges and bear dances, for many seasons, along with being taught hatha yoga and different pagan rituals and practices. Through Chokae’ I was brought to see and experience Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi or Amma (the hugging Saint). With that very first hug of unconditional love from Amma I’ve been a devotee and she has been a big influence in my life ever since. Because of the many people I’ve met and the lived spiritual experiences I’ve had over the years I understand the importance and the responsibility of what it is to carry a healing medicine and how much it is needed in the world. So when my friend Jason Michael Stepina invited me to study Siwa Murti I said yes and I’m so glad I did.

“As I settled down last night I experienced the familiar tapping sensation on the left side of my body. It’s an internal feeling completely but my cat must have felt it or sensed it because, after one “pop”, she hopped up and ran away.
I slept well. I woke up to a big stab of pain (I have Trigeminal Neuralgia) but started to feel the tapping and popping almost immediately, beginning in my feet and traveling up. I could tell my body was healing”… This is an excerpt from a message I wrote to Carey after one of his healing sessions; one of many transformative experiences with Carey and his practice of Siwa Murti. I can’t recommend him enough. Carey is a beautiful person with a healing gift.”
